Float towards the Predigtstuhl in the oldest, original, year-round large cable car in the world. Since 1928 it has been considered the model of a perfect cable car and the epitome of elegance in cable car construction. It is therefore rightly the only cable car in the world to be listed as a historical monument. The 32-meter-high, skyward-reaching monumental pillars, as well as the majestically enthroned mountain station on the summit, are an expression of the lifestyle of the 1920s. At the top, you will find modern Bavarian dishes in the Predigtstuhl mountain restaurant. The ambience of the fireplace room and the coffee terrace with a view of the imposing mountains will seduce you into a bygone era. Two ultra-modern seminar rooms offer space for up to 100 people for workshops, meetings and seminars. Team activities such as archery and climbing exercises can also be booked. After a delicious meal in the mountain restaurant, you can go on long hikes from the mountain station down or to the surrounding peaks. In winter a very special winter fairy tale is revealed to you on the Predigtstuhl while snowshoeing, hiking on touring skis or tobogganing.
