Tour description:
Highlights of the tour: View of the village from Unterbichl and the Kaiser Mountains, Loferauen children's play trail, Kronbichler chapel, Maria Hilf chapel in Altblindau.
From the starting point Tourist - Info via the town center towards Oberbichl (Kronbichler Chapel), then downhill to Unterbichl and further along the beautiful Lofer meadows to the Gemeindestraße (Gasteig), here on the right following the signs to Blindau (Alt Blindau).
Past the Maria Hilf chapel, the tour continues along the Heuchner Lack pond to the Blindau district. There follow the municipal road to the Loferauen junction. Once here, we turn right and follow the route to the Entfelden district. Over a gravel road via the Pötsch farm back to the starting point.
Did you know that the Kronbichler Chapel is the oldest chapel in Reit im Winkl?
During the restoration in 1964, simple peasant frescoes were discovered with the year 1694. The chapel got its name from the Kronbichler estate mentioned in 1612 and is a listed building.

Coming from Munich or Salzburg on the Munich - Salzburg motorway (A8 to Grabenstätt exit no. 109), continue in the direction of Marquartstein and on the well-developed German Alpine Road (B 305) to Reit im Winkl.
