Staudigelhütte - Brand - Fairytale Forest - Brand - Amusement Park - Staudigelhütte
Tour description:
Ruhpolding's fairytale forest is a mysterious, mystical place. According to legend, it was created in the 13th century when the rock face about 300 meters higher collapsed. Due to the nature of the rock, grottos and small caves have formed and everything is covered with moss. Sunlight falls through the thick branches of the trees and there is even an enchanted lucky grotto and a bear's den from earlier times. The Ruhpolding amusement park is also on the hiking trail in the middle of a forest on the mountain slope. 60 fairytale attractions, from the carousel and dragon ride to the mountain roller coaster, guarantee fun for the whole family.
Just a short detour from the car park, history is writ large. The www.museum-glockenschmiede.de located on the Thoraubach in the Brander Tal is a hammer mill museum that was first mentioned in a document in 1646. Cow bells and tools were made here until 1955 and since 1936 the unique smithy has been a listed building and the museum has been lovingly run during the summer months.
The www.freizeitpark.by and fairy tale park in Ruhpolding has been delighting visitors of all ages for more than 50 years. Generations of families with children have been enchanted by the fairytale world in the fairytale park. With over 60 attractions from the mountain roller coaster to the slide paradise to the dragon ride, fun and action are guaranteed.
