Three Lakes Area

Lakes Lödensee, Mittersee and Weitsee are only a few minutes' drive from the town center in the direction of Reit im Winkl in a beautiful landscape and are considered to be the warmest Bavarian mountain lakes. The whole area is under nature protection and is completely free of commercial establishments. The lakes can be easily reached by car or with the RVO buses (departure from the train station). Please pay attention to the no stopping signs next to the main road (heavy fine!). A bike tour is also an option. The Three Lakes Area can be reached on a cycle path.
