The Bavarian Elector Maximilian I founded the Hofbräuhaus Traunstein. The Weisses Bräuhaus has already fallen victim to the flames twice. However, it was quickly rebuilt and put into operation again and again. The Hofbräuhaus would also have been destroyed if it hadn't been extinguished with buckets of beer.
